Back in May, Icewear Vezzo dropped off his new Rich Off Pints project. He now returns with the official visual for “Venting” from the body of work, closely following his recent “Tear The Club Up” collab video with Future. On the “Venting” track, Vezzo has a few things he needs to get of his chest:

I been watchin now n***as move, they be on Instagram/ I had to cut off some of the guys/ See lately, they been playin’ roles these n***as fakin/ I see my opps switchin, we set him up and shit got crazy/

A lot of shit been on my mind, I feel like ventin’/ A bunch of real issues, some other shit I can not mention, out side of that, the way this jewelry hit this shit look sickening

In addition to his own releases, this year has seen Vezzo increasing his profile feature-wise, appearing on songs like Snap Dogg’s “Step On,” “Tear The Club Up” with Future, Young Crazy’s “Shell Jumping,” Lil Ty’s “Pill God Drink God,” Pacman Da Gunman’s “Did That,” and Mellow Rackz’s “Right Now.” Vezzo also joined forces with Lil Durk for Vezzo’s “Up The Sco” single, which dropped at the start of April. Additionally this year, we’ve heard him on singles like “6Print,” “Cheat Code” with KrispyLife Kidd, and Courtney Bell’s “Deebo.”

During a conversation, the current crop of Motor City rappers connects more to the underground rap scene than most people think. “People like me and other rappers like Tee Grizzley, Peezy, Babyface Ray and Snap Dogg grew up on Chedda Boyz, Street Lord’z, Blade Icewood, Rock Bottom, the Lost Boys, the real underground gangster rappers in Detroit. If it wasn’t for them, I literally wouldn’t be rapping,” he says. “Those guys were rapping about shit, and you were able to see them in the hood passing money out, or giving back.”
