Back in March, DDG tapped in with super-producer OG Parker to be his co-pilot for a joint EP titled Die 4 Respect. The project was preceded by singles like “Money Long” and “Rule #1” with Yachty, and he continued the momentum by dropping off the official visual for the Coi Leray-assisted “Impatient” and the Tyla Yaweh-assisted “Hakuna Matata.” Now the Michigan star keeps his consistency in tact as he returns with his latest music video, this time for the YoungBoy NBA-assisted “Hood Melody,” which is the intro track that sets the tone for the whole project:

All of my young niggas losing they life, ’cause they don’t know it’s life that is outside the trap/ N***as be tellin’ us if we don’t dribble the ball

Then maybe a nigga can rap, n***as on the block, they be movin’ that work/ He got the weed, the coke, and the Percs, n***a got a Glock, he don’t wanna get murked/ If a n***a try me, I’ma put him on a shirt

DDG’s aforementioned body of work is equipped with 11 songs and a dope roster of features from names like Coi Leray, YoungBoy NBA, PnB Rock, and more. DDG has been making headlines lately not only for his music, but most recently due to his victory on the LivexLive’s Social Gloves: Battle Of The Platforms boxing event on Saturday (June 12). He proudly repped his YouTube set against TikTok star Nate Wyatt. Most recently, he dropped off his “iCarly (Freestyle)” which pays homage to one of Nickelodeon’s most coveted series’ during the tail end of the 2000’s

In terms of what YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been up to, he recently linked up wth Rod Wave to assist him in his “Everything Different” visual and also dropped of his own video for “White Teeth.”
