Tessica Brown, a.k.a “Gorilla Glue Girl,” is looking to help prevent others from making their own hair care mistakes. The Louisiana woman, whose ordeal with Gorilla Glue Adhesive Spray went viral earlier this year, announced the launch of her very own hair care company on Wednesday (June 16).

“Happy Wednesday!! I’m so excited to share with y’all my amazing hair product I’ve been working on for months that helped my hair grow and keeps my scalp healthy, ‘Forever Hair,’” Brown captioned a post on Instagram. “Y’all know how I love my hair products and I cannot wait for you to try them.”

In a video, Brown explained that since receiving a medical procedure from a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to rid the powerful glue from her hair, she’s been working with professionals to help heal her scalp and hair follicles. One product she’s developed with professionals, and is now making available for purchase, is a hair root oil.

“As y’all already know, about four months ago I ran out of hairspray and ended up using Gorilla Glue spray — bad, bad idea,” she began in the clip. “As a result of that, I ended up losing my hair and having scalp damage. But since then, I’ve been working with professionals to create and formulate a hair root oil.”

“I needed this oil to one, heal my scalp. I needed it to grow my hair back. I needed it to stimulate my hair follicles and on top of that I needed everything to be all-natural,” she added. “…My scalp feels amazing and my hair is already growing back. This oil has been a lifesaver.”

Brown also posted before-and-after photos of her hair after using the root oil for two months. Besides the product, which sells online for $18, TMZ reports that Brown’s Forever Hair line also includes a $14 hair spray and sleek edge control for $13. All products are available now on the Forever Hair website.
