While riding the wave of success from his Gardener Express project, Toronto’s very own Pressa plans to return with the deluxe version of the project. To get fans prepped, he drops off another taste from the forthcoming body of work, the freshly released “Second Hand Smoke” single. In the new Michael Vincent and Connor Rathbone co-directed visual, we follow Pressa through the realness as he delivers his catchy melody:

I play my role but once I rolled the dice, I rolled it back, I knew I won/ And I don’t want your girl, that bitch a nat, want all the smoke, only time a n***a deal with secondhand’s a brick of coke

Will turn a teenage boy into a man, I kid you not I seen my life evolve around a rock, fill up my Glock and I be with the Wassa, hundred shots, fuck up the pot/ Seen mama hide the Pyrex from the cops, get out the way

The aforementioned Gardener Express project includes seven songs and features from names like Sheff G, Flipp Dinero, Sleepy Hallow, Jackboy, Taliban Glizzy, and D-Block Europe. Prior to this was 2019’s Prestige project. Back in 2016, the rapper captured people’s attention in Canada and the UK after the success of “Wass Gang,” which landed him a tour with Drake.

For those who may not be too familiar with Pressa as an artist, he made sure to delve into his intentions during a previous conversation. “My music just talks about what I go through, and that you can turn negatives into positives,” he said in a previous conversation. “No matter how rough and how hard, it doesn’t matter what you’ve been through in the past, you can still make it through it all. I feel like if I make it, a lot of people who are in the streets and in poverty can make it too. I try to represent my city a lot.”
