Snoop Dogg and Kevin Hart are teaming up on a new sports comedy news show, Deadline reported on Monday (May 17). Hart revealed the announcement during NBCUniversal’s Upfronts presentation and said the show is currently in the developmental stages.

According to the outlet, Hart also called Snoop “the man, the myth and the legend” during the presentation and teased that his Laugh Out Loud Network is “working on some more hilarious content that will be coming to you soon.”

Besides co-hosting the sports show with Hart, Snoop is also set to host a Peacock series about the world’s dumbest criminals, Deadline reported. Hart is also involved with the series after signing a multi-year deal with the streaming company. The partnership reportedly included an equity investment in the company, distribution of Hart’s Laugh Out Loud content and a first-look deal with LOL.

Hart is also releasing a stand-up comedy special, interview series and more short-form content through Laugh Out Loud, which will be streamed exclusively on Peacock.

News of Snoop’s latest television endeavors also follows his announcement about an upcoming anthology series based on his life. As reported by REVOLT, Snoop said he was inspired to work on the series after seeing the success of Straight Outta Compton, the 2015 biopic about N.W.A.

“We’re developing that, putting it together as we speak… just trying to take my time and put the right information out,” Snoop explained. “I don’t want to rush to it just because [Straight Outta Compton] was successful, just to come behind it. I want to take my time and make sure that I’ve put together the right infrastructure of how I became me. You know, the people that inspire me, my upbringing, my mother, my father, my friends, community influences [and] inspirations that shaped and molded me.”

“I don’t see it being a biopic because I can’t give all of this great information and entertainment in two hours,” he added. “But if I give it to you in an anthology, you’re likely to get six or seven seasons of this.”
