Lil Yachty is gearing up to release his own line of gender-inclusive nail polish.

On Monday (May 3), the “Oprah’s Bank Account” emcee took to social media to announce his new endeavor. “I’d like to introduce my new nail paint line @crete__co,” he captioned the post. “FIRST COLOR DROP MAY 21. 4 ALL GENDERS. FOR YOU, NOT THEM!” Fans who are interested in purchasing the polish can sign up at www.crete.co to receive early access to the company’s first limited-edition drop.

Last year, the Quality Control rapper defended a 17-year-old boy who was suspended from a West Texas high school for wearing nail polish.

Trevor Wilkinson, a senior at Clyde High School, called his institution out for being homophobic and sexist on Twitter after he received three days of in school suspension (ISS) for having his nails painted. “Imagine your school not allowing boys to paint their nails and giving boys ISS for it,” Wilkinson tweeted. “And the whole administration being okay with it, homophobic and sexist? Welcome to West Texas.”

Once Yachty got wind of the teen’s situation, he spoke to TMZ about how ridiculous the suspension was and said that he planned to reach out to the young student.

“If someone wants to express themself in any type of way, as long as it’s not harming anyone or bringing anyone down, they should be allowed to do so. … You shouldn’t be punished or tormented for being you,” Yachty previously said.

He then went into detail about his polish line. “It’s essentially like, it’s unisex, but I want it to be more focused on for men to use it, and to be more comfortable in their own skin,” the Lil Boat rapper added. “Because bro, it’s 2020, you know what I’m saying? Like it’s about to be 2021 — come on, what are barriers? We still have barriers?”
