Inglewood’s very own Griff Tyler has gifted his supporters with a new token of appreciation. The California singer dropped off a surprise new EP While I have Your Attn, and the project is short and sweet, containing only three tracks and clocking in at under 10 minutes. The opening track “Show Off” sets the confident tone for the body of work:

Gotta show off/ My guns, my muscle, my hustle/ I been in been in the gym, I flex/ Got it out the mud, out the rubble, all that and above it/On ten, I’m him, I’m next

The project features some new collaborators as A&G produced “Show Off”, and “Sign Me Up” is produced by Shawty.wav., but he locked in with frequent collaborator Viper Beats was behind the boards for “Forehead Kisses.” Most recently, Griff shared his breezy music video for “Wassup” featuring G Perico, a fan-favorite off Griff Tyler’s 2020 Play Your Cards Right project. The nine-track body of work boasts tracks like “Wild West” and “Guarded,” and includes additional features from names like Airplane James and Emimeezy. In terms of other visuals from the same project, he also shared the official video for “Cold Piece” prior to that.

In August 2018, Griff released his project No Service, ensuring his talent is front and center by including no features. The project features hit singles “Same” and “Mamacita.” After that in 2019 came his Free Samples project, which ambitiously showcases his creativity by uniquely sampling nine classic records, including hits like Beyoncé’s “Me, Myself, & I” Usher’s “U Make Me Wanna…” His most recent singles “Coffee” and “Guarded” featuring the Diamond Lane Music Group superstar Airplane James center every element and compelling performance he now has to offer in his ascension in the music industry.
