At the top of this month, 42 Dugg linked up with Roddy Ricch for their new “4 Da Gang” collab. The two have officially circled back to provide an official visual that serves the heater justice, as the video exemplifies staying true to your crew. On the song, Dugg handles the opening verse as he rides over the TayTayMadeIt-produced beat, which samples German rock band Scorpions’ March 1982 single, “No One Like You”:

Ain’t nothin’ plain on me, n***a, four chains on me (I just want to be loved by you)/ I ain’t trippin’ ‘bout that ho, n***a, she came on meI got a bitch from the West, she’ll suck a n***a soft/ Bitch from the East, she’ll fuck a nigga dawgs (No one like—)

Last year, 42 Dugg dropped off his latest project Young & Turnt, Vol. 2, which originally saw 14 cuts with additional features from Babyface Ray, Yo Gotti, and Lil Baby — the latter two of whom Dugg is jointly signed under. The Detroit star later unveiled a deluxe version of Young & Turnt, Vol. 2 with nine more cuts and assists from DeJ Loaf, Moneybagg Yo, and more. Currently, he’s said to be working on a third installment of his Young & Turnt series.

Roddy Ricch excelled these last two years, especially thanks to the success of his 2019 chart-topping debut LP Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial and its breakout track “The Box,” the latter of which has since been certified eight times Platinum in the United States. “The Box” has also earned a wealth of plaques around the world, and can add countries like Canada, Australia, and Poland to his list of multi-Platinum achievements. Last month, he revealed a new single titled “Heartless,” giving hope that a new album is soon to arrive.
