“Made this song to motivate myself so this song real special to me,” Fredo Bang writes as he teased his brand new “Don’t Stop Believing” track. As promised, he delivered a motivational new song along with an accompanying music video. While scenes of Fredo in the studio and making various appearances flash across the screen, he delivers his opening verse about all the trials and tribulations he’s been through:

Rappin’ my job, but I’m not like the rest, I’m not the biggest, but I feel like the best/ I did that time behind that wall, God put me to the test (To the test) I left the fake ones in the past and shitted on the rest (On the rest)/ I seen them bodies in the streets, can’t tell me that I ain’t blessed

They let me free, hopped in the whip like, “Fuck the destination” Waited my whole life for this, I’m just ‘bout done with havin’ patience/ Hang with killers, I’m still racin’. I came home to nothing/ Ain’t make excuses, I stay dedicated

Earlier this year, Fredo Bang released In The Name Of Gee (Still Most Hated), the deluxe edition of last year’s In The Name Of Gee that sees 10 additional tracks and new collabs with Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Sada Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, Lit Yoshi, and Treety. In terms of visuals we’ve received prior to this, Fredo Bang also dropped off “Soul Cry” and “Top” featuring Lil Durk and “Doin’ My Time” featuring Moneybagg Yo.

In The Name of Gee was released back in September, boasting 15 cuts and also sees collaborations with Kevin Gates, Mulatto, Petty Levels, and late rapper Da Real Gee Money, which the album title pays tribute to. Last year also saw Fredo’s official debut LP Most Hated, a 12-track body of work featuring Tee Grizzley, Moneybagg, Lil Baby, YNW Melly, and more.
