Currently, both 42 Dugg and Roddy Ricch are considered two of the hottest artists of hip hop’s current generation. Today, they come together for the TayTayMadeIt-produced “4 Da Gang,” which sees the two standing tall for their respective posses:

“Put the city on my back, still remember hard times, 2018 was the year my dawg died, pull up in frog eyes, yeah nigga, we winning/

Amiris all over, if not, we Timbs, me and 42 pullin’ up, twin Bentleys, peanut butter seats, all my windows tinted, know I keep two flags on bang, I just dropped the Urus for the gang, tied from the D to LA, always keep it a hunnid K/”

Last year, 42 Dugg dropped off his latest project Young & Turnt, Vol. 2, which originally saw 14 cuts with additional features from Babyface Ray, Yo Gotti, and Lil Baby — the latter two of whom Dugg is jointly signed under. The Detroit star later unveiled a deluxe version of Young & Turnt, Vol. 2 with nine more cuts and assists from DeJ Loaf, Moneybagg Yo, and more. Currently, he’s said to be working on a third installment of his Young & Turnt series.

2020 has been good to Roddy Ricch as well — this is especially thanks to the success of his 2019 chart-topping debut LP Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial and its breakout track “The Box,” the latter of which has since been certified eight times Platinum in the United States. “The Box” has also earned a wealth of plaques around the world, and can add countries like Canada, Australia, and Poland to his list of multi-Platinum achievements. Last month, he revealed a new single titled “Heartless,” giving hope that a new album is soon to arrive.
