21 Savage will executive produce the music for the forthcoming Spiral: From The Book of Saw film.

According to Variety, the trailer for the Chris Rock-produced film was recently released and featured a new song from the rapper titled “Spiral.” On Tuesday (March 30), 21 took to Instagram to announce his new endeavor. “Spiral. In Theaters May 14. @saw Soundtrack By Me,” he captioned the trailer for the movie.

Spiral: From the Book of Saw marks the ninth installment in the Saw horror franchise. The trailer featured detectives who are trying to stop an imposter who is replicating Jigsaw’s murder gizmos and scenarios.

Earlier this month, 21 was tapped as the face of Louis Vuitton’s summer collection. Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton’s creative director, chose the Savage Mode II emcee to model his designs in the fashion house’s summer lookbook.

The men’s ‘21 capsule collection includes flamboyant, watercolor print bucket hats, shorts, pullovers, indigo pinstriped button-downs, a crewneck and several other pieces. Abloh’s line also includes jewelry, such as bracelets, rings and a multi-colored chain necklace with LV charms. As the company moved towards a more environmentally friendly future, they created all of the colors for the collection without chlorine or metals.

21 has always had an interest in fashion. He previously walked the runway for Tom Ford, Saint Laurent and Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty show.

In a 2019 interview with Nylon magazine, 21 said he’s “always been interested” in looking put-together. “Hip hop is pop culture right now,” he said. “We’re the number one genre of music. Every kid from all over the world wants to dress like or be a rapper. And honestly, I think even before social media, kids in the ‘80s and ‘90s loved hip hop style. Social media and streaming has made the genre more visible and accessible.”

Spiral: From the Book of Saw is set to hit theaters on May 14. Check out part of the trailer below.
