After clenching a historic string of Billboard Hot 100 debuts, Drake is paying his respects to those who have inspired him. The 6 God’s Scary Hours 2 cuts nabbed the top three entries on the chart this week, which he celebrated on Monday (March 15) with a “1-2-3” themed party.

Drake linked up with Bow Wow during the festivities and posted a series of Instagram Story clips about how the “Like You” rapper has helped support his career.

“I had to link with Wizzle. Everybody wants to have drinks and everybody wants to celebrate and turn up and, you know, I just had to see Wizzle. I had to see Wizzle in person,” Drake said of Bow. “If it wasn’t for you, there wouldn’t be no me. That’s why — you know the rest — that’s why I’mma rock with y’all forever more.”

In another clip, Drake told Bow, “I wanna thank you, man.” The Columbus, Ohio native responded by congratulating Drizzy on his massive success.

As reported by REVOLT, Drake’s songs “What’s Next,” “Wants and Needs” featuring Lil Baby and “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” with Rick Ross debuted at the No. 1, 2 and 3 spots respectively on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The triple-entry was a historic moment for the Toronto-born star and put him ahead of the likes of Ariana Grande and The Beatles, who are the only two other artists to ever have three songs in the Top 3 at one time.

Despite only being a three-pack, Scary Hours 2 was expected to do well. HITS Daily Double projected the EP would sell one million equivalent units or more within its first week and Charts Data predicted “What’s Next” would debut at No. 1.

The EP precedes Drake’s forthcoming sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, which is expected to arrive sometime this spring.
