This month, Paper Route Empire stars Young Dolph and Key Glock will unveil the second installment of their Dum and Dummer series. Following last month’s “Case Closed,” the duo continued to build momentum toward the forthcoming drop by delivering the new single “Aspen,” a BandPlay-produced effort that sees the artists flexing about a Colorado excursion, among other things:

“Stay out my way, I’ll pop you like an Aspirin, trap nigga on the way to Aspen, smoke the best weed and spent millions on fashion, I cash the chicken, went ballin’ in Aspen/

Grew up fucked up, now I’m havin’, don’t make me book you for a closed casket, drop a bag on ya ass and go to Aspen, I just dropped off sixty bags in the Aston/”

Dum and Dummer 2 will follow January’s deluxe release of Dolph’s 2020 LP Rich Slave, which altogether contained 24 cuts with additional assists from Megan Thee Stallion, G Herbo, Juicy J, Kenny Muney, and more. Last year also saw two high quality projects from Glock — January’s Yellow Tape and May’s Son of a Gun. Dum and Dummer’s official predecessor was released back in 2019, and earned the Memphis rappers a top ten placement on the Billboard 200 thanks to 45,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release.

In a past interview with REVOLT’s “Drink Champs,” Dolph opened up about his relationship with Glock, and how he’s been assisting with the progress of his career:

“Really, at the end of the day, Glock gonna always be more in control over his shit … It ain’t all about what I want, you know what I’m saying? If you pay attention, I treat Glock shit like a little bit more tender and closely and careful than I treat my own shit.”
