After dropping off his official music video for “Cold Piece,” Inglewood, CA’s very own Griff Tyler keeps his momentum going with his latest visual “Wassup.” The freshly released video for the G Perico-assisted cut sees the two enjoying a feel-good day skating around the block as Griff delivers his breezy hook:

Girl, that body, is ready. It’s Godly, it’s deadly/ I’m fly, you fancy. I’m handsome, you sexy/ I’ma keep it simple with you, I’ma keep it a buck, wassup?/ Ain’t gotta sugar coat it baby, I can get to know you later, wassup?/

I ain’t gotta front girl, you got me shook/ You ain’t gotta fuck with me, I’m just saying you should/ Let’s get this understood, girl you look good but I ain’t just tryna look

The track is a fan-favorite off Griff Tyler’s 2020 Play Your Cards Right project. The nine-track body of work boasts tracks like “Wild West” and “Guarded,” and includes additional features from names like Airplane James and Emimeezy. Prior to this was Tyler’s Free Samples project from 2019.

Most recently, G Perico dropped off two EPs — the 6-track Free and the 9-track Welcome To The Land. He also teamed up with Rucci for the hard-hitting loose cut “Keep Killin.” In addition to the aforementioned mixtape of the same name, G Perico also dropped a visual for “Welcome To The Land,” and can be heard on cuts like “Pull It” with 1TakeJay. G Perico’s last official LP, the Roc Nation-backed Ten-Eight, was released in 2019 and saw 11 cuts with additional features from Sonny DigitalAz Chike, Bucho, and Garren. The classic bodies of work 2 Tha Left and Guess What? made landfall in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
