Faces, Mac Miller’s 2014 mixtape, may be making its way to streaming services, according to producer ID Labs.

The producer — who made two of the beats on Miller’s project — confirmed the news via a brief exchange with a fan on Reddit. On the social media platform, the Reddit user recalled a time Labs announced Faces was getting cleared for its placement on streaming services.

“I think ID Labs said on this sub a few months ago that they were working on getting Faces cleared for streaming services,” the user wrote. “But it was going to take time due to clearing samples. Maybe it’s finally getting done… hopefully.”

Labs got wind of the post and responded, “This is correct and currently happening.”

Faces was independently released in May 2014. The star-studded project — which features the likes of Rick Ross, ScHoolboy Q, Vince Staples and Ab-Soul — was the follow up to Watching Movies with the Sound Off, Miller’s second studio album that dropped a year before.

Of Miller’s eleven mixtapes, only one is currently available on streaming services. In April, to commemorate the decade anniversary of K.I.D.S., the 2010 mixtape was released on DSPs with two bonus songs.

Miller passed away suddenly in 2018 following an accidental drug overdose prompted by a toxic mix of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol. Fortunately, for fans, the Pittsburgh emcee recorded enough music for his team to release posthumous projects in his absence.

Last year, Miller’s family announced the release of Circles — an album the “Good News” star was working on before his untimely demise. The 12-track project was highly-praised, debuting at number three on the Billboard 200 chart, and there is still more music we haven’t heard. The Swimming rapper’s unreleased music includes a track with Styles P and the songs that will be featured on an upcoming tribute project.
