Recently, Drakeo The Ruler lost a longtime friend and fellow artist Ketchy The Great. Drakeo made sure to pay homage to his late comrade in the form of a new song. On the new “Long Live The Greatest” track, Drakeo reminisces on the times they had together:

We was causin’ all the problems, sticks in the car, we was causin’ all the drama/ Let a n***a blink wrong, we gon’ pop him/ Who brought the choppers to the stage with no summer? Silly n***as want fame, we want dollars. They better not mention your name, we buyin’ choppas. In that 911 thang, doin’ a hunnid, usually don’t do this type of shit, but I said, “fuck it”/ Are you with god n***a? Why you take my brother? Arguing over chops n***a, why you take my hunnid?/ But one more thing, why you leave me with these busters?

Although there’s a whole new project on the way, it hasn’t been too long since Drakeo’s last bodies of work. Drakeo the Ruler celebrated his birthday by dropping his We Know The Truth mixtape at the top of December and he followed up swiftly with the deluxe version with an additional seven tracks. The original release We Know The Truth included guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Tee Grizzley, Rich The Kid, and Lil Mosey as well as fellow members of the Stinc Team (Rassy Bugatti, Ketchy The Great, and Ralfy The Plug) with the deluxe edition boasting additional features from Sean Kingston and Shoreline Mafia’s OhGeesy. Afterwards, he reached back into the vault and shared a 2020 buzzer beater project, this time the 15-track body of work titled Because Y’all Asked.

Be sure to press play on Drakeo The Ruler’s new track “Long Live The Greatest” music video down below.

Rest in peace Ketchy The Great.
