REVOLT is preparing for the premiere of a new show that has been added to the network.

“The Crew League” is a basketball competition series where celebrities in the hip hop industry get to face off in a playoff-like showdown in hopes to win “bragging rights and a grand prize” of $100,000. Half of the prize-winning money will be donated to a cause of the victors’ choice.

“‘The Crew League’ delivers REVOLT’s mission of creating meaningful content that shifts cultural norms and offers a fresh perspective,” Chairman Diddy said of the show. “‘The Crew League’ is a dope way for artists to do something they love, while still giving back to causes that are important to them.”

“I’m excited to announce our partnership,” he added in an Instagram post. “Hip Hop and basketball have always been connected as a culture, and now the biggest artists get to compete with the world watching.”

On the show’s first season, fans get will get to watch the likes of Swae Lee, Lil Keed and G Herbo step in the shoes of professional basketball players for their friendly tournament. Lil Mosey, Lil Keed, G Herbo, The Kid LAROI and DDG will also compete alongside a few surprise guests, while hosts Druski, Buster Scher and 24kGoldn provide exclusive commentary. Much like a typical NBA event, the series will be complete with halftime shows, post-game press confererences and of course, trash talk among the competing crews.

“The Crew League” Co-Founders Elie Maroun and Jordan A. Stern — who previously worked on Diddy’s management team — created the series “to shift entertainment culture” and “showcase not only the celebrity talent involved but also the ‘crews’ around them.” “We had the idea to create this show after a few music industry friends decided to play a couple pick-up basketball games in L.A. After playing with PARTYNEXTDOOR, The Weeknd and their teams, I realized if we were to broadcast this, people would love it!” Maroun said in a statement. “That’s when ‘The Crew Leaguewas born.”

“The Crew League” makes it debut on Feb. 19 on YouTube, where it will air new episodes every Friday. It will also play on REVOLT TV on Mondays at 10:00 PM ET. The final episodes will air on March 5th – 7th during NBA’s All-Star Weekend.
