Last month, Fredo Bang liberated In The Name Of Gee (Still Most Hated), the deluxe edition of last year’s In The Name Of Gee that sees 10 additional tracks and new collabs with Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Sada Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, Lit Yoshi, and Treety. This week, the Baton Rouge star delivers a new visual from Still Most Hated for “Soul Cry,” a TnTXD, Tahj Money, and JB-produced cut that sees Fredo Bang opening up about past and current struggles:

“I know a gangster ass n***a put his stick before his kids, I believe in God, I pray to him before I sin, many tried, many died, felt the flame from the gat, six feet under dirt, dig ‘em up, you want him back/

I could go stupid with this dirty SIG, I’ma put you on the front page ‘fore you take my momma kid, I’m out my body, out my top, I’m out my fuckin league, yeah, big ol’ stepper, head dresser, tell me how you want your wig?”

The Jon J.-produced visual keeps with the religion-based theme seen on the aforementioned albums’ artwork, with Fredo Bang reciting the song’s lines both in church with others seeking prayer, and in confessional with a priest. He can also be spotted on a porch with a close compadre, further matching the song’s subject matter.

Prior to Still Most Hated, In The Name Of Gee made landfall in September and initially saw 15 cuts with features from Mulatto, Petty Levels, Kevin Gates, Seven7Hardaway, and late rapper Gee Money, who Fredo Bang pays tribute to throughout the entire release. Last year also saw Fredo Bang liberating his official debut album Most Hated, which saw 12 songs and dope assists from Lil Baby, YNW Melly, Tee Grizzley, and more.
