PartyNextDoor has easily been one of the best artists in recent times. Since he stepped on the scene back in 2013 with his debut EP PartyNextDoor, it seemed that the world couldn’t get enough of the vibes he brought to the table. Additionally, being an OVO Sound signee has only elevated PND and there’s no doubt that he’s the perfect fit for the label. His COLOURS EP opened a can of worms that fans couldn’t contain.

Back in Dec. 2014, the crooner dropped the 4-track project as the first installment to the series. The sequel would arrive nearly 3 years after with another tracklist of 4 songs titled COLOURS 2. While the sequel has always been available on streaming platforms, it has not been packaged together as an 8-track project. Today, PND has done a good deed by releasing COLOURS as a full package and this is a phenomenal start to the new year.

This past Wednesday, PND took to social media to announce the project’s arrival: “Making the original COLOURS finally available everywhere Friday for the fans.” Along with the announcement, the OVO Sound artist hinted at possible new music: “Locked in, will be back soon.” The release of COLOURS follows PARTYNEXTDOOR’s 2020 release of PARTYPACK, which was filled with previously released fan favorites that have yet to touch streaming platforms. The Canadian artist is following in the footsteps of his OVO label boss, Drake. Back in 2019, Drizzy dropped Care Package. The project’s tracklist included fan favorites as well that finally got the chance to see the streaming daylight.

PND’s ability to pull inspiration from all his previous work to craft a wide display of after-hours R&B and alternative hip hop has led to the creation of some of his best projects. While we await COLOURS 3, enjoy the sounds of COLOURS below.
