Last year, TeaMarrr presented her Before I Spill Myself project, complete with 10 tracks and features from D. Smoke, Rapsody, and SiR. She makes her return with an official visual for the SiR-assisted “Tick,” as the song is the background track to her crime-fighting mission. The Yvan Ray Fine-directed visual opens up with TeaMarrr laying out her plan to hunt down her person of interest, while she goes into her sultry lyrics:
I want you to break down my backside. I want it, no cap, give me that fax line. I want you to wet down my backside, yeah./ I miss the way you’ve rained down heavy on me. Nobody fucks me like you ever could. I ain’t had it in a long time, but while we’re on time, let me fuck you./ Love me from moon shine ‘til your morning wood. Give it to me for the one time ‘cause you dumb fine and I want you.
Before the aforementioned Before I Spill Myself project was her 2017 Thanks for the Chapstick release. Last year, she also appeared on the season 4 soundtrack for HBO’s hit series Insecure with her song “Temperature.” In the summer, she released a single with Wale titled “Colors.”
TDE’s very own SiR released his last full-length project Chasing Summer in 2019 as the sunny summer months came to a close. The album, led by lead single “Hair Down” featuring label-mate Kendrick Lamar, also included features from Smino, Kadhja Bonet, Lil Wayne, Sabrina Claudio, Jill Scott, and Zacari. More recently, he shared a single “Let Go” alongside his blood brother D Smoke, and joined Alicia Keys for a performance of her “Three Hour Drive” song from her self-titled album.
