The late Larry King spent his career interviewing celebrities, political figures, and just about anyone else who would sit down with him. Now, after the news of his death rocked the globe, thousands of tributes came pouring in, especially from the people Larry connected with personally.

On Saturday (Jan. 23), numerous celebrities hit up their social media accounts to say some loving words about the longtime host of CNN’s “Larry King Live,” who passed away in Los Angeles. Rappers like Juicy J, 50 Cent, N.O.R.E, Kyle, and other artists have wished the legendary journalist well in the afterlife.

“R.I.P. the legend Larry King,” Juicy J tweeted.

Among the celebrities, fellow talk show host Oprah Winfrey, who’s sat down with King numerous times during her tenure on daytime television. Comedian Eric Andre also honored King by posting a previous interview with him on Ora Media’s “Larry King Now.”

“It was always a treat to sit at your table. And hear your stories. Thank you Larry King,” Oprah tweeted.

“RIP Larry King,” Eric Andre tweeted. “One of my favorite interviews of my humble career and one of the sweetest guys i ever worked with. Grew up with him on my television. You will be missed…”

Not only did celebrities chime in, but also the world’s most prominent political figures in and outside the U.S. have paid their respects to King. Former POTUS Bill Clinton and the Prime Minister of Israel have issued meaningful statements praising King for his work over the past three decades.

“I enjoyed my 20+ interviews with Larry King over the years,” Clinton tweeted. “He had a great sense of humor and a genuine interest in people. He gave a direct line to the American people and worked hard to get the truth for them, with questions that were direct but fair. Farewell, my friend.”
