Popcaan continues to deliver the type of top quality tunes that fans would enjoy on the dance floor — if not for the still-active pandemic. His latest is the infectious cut “Cream,” which features an assist from up-and-coming Unruly member Frahcess One. Produced by Yung Vibez beatsmith Jamie Roberts, the duo deliver the type of hedonistic, adults-only vibes that you’d expect:

“Henny inna mi damn vein, gyal ah bubble up like ah champagne, gyal from Yard, Trinidad, over Ukraine, ain’t gonna tell nuh lie like 2 Chainz/

That’s what it is, yuh pussy ah mi bus’, gyal dem ah tell mi how mi clean, wan’ gimmi head inna di club, yuh know what I mean? Wul ah vibes, buss ah blank if yuh living di dream, nuh give ah fuck about di haters when mi stocking di cream…/”

Directed by Ruption, the accompanying visual shows Popcaan and Frahcess One at what looks like a tropical resort with several ladies and dirt bikes in tow. All parties involved can be seen partying from day until night throughout.

“Cream” follows Popcaan’s “Relevant,” which was released earlier this month. Prior to that, he liberated his fourth studio album FIXTAPE in August, his second full-length body of work as an OVO Sound signee. That project saw 19 tracks and additional appearances from Drake, Stylo G, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Jada Kingdom, Masicka, and more — Frahcess One also contributed to the album standout “Any One a Dem.” He then teamed up with labelmate Preme for the quick-strike EP Link Up, which contained six cuts and assists from French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Davido, and BEAM.
