The Texas woman who took a private jet to attend the U.S. Capitol riots has been arrested, according to multiple reports. Jenna Ryan, who owns a real estate firm in Frisco, Texas, has been charged with parading, demonstrating, or picketing in any of the Capitol buildings, violent entry and disorderly conduct.

In a now-deleted video, Ryan live-streamed herself entering the Capitol on Jan. 6. “We are going to fucking go in here. Life or death, it doesn’t matter,” she said in the now-deleted video. “Here we go.” She later added, “Y’all know who to hire for your realtor. Jenna Ryan for your realtor.”

On Friday (Jan. 15), the Department of Justice revealed that they were able to identify Ryan from a series of Facebook photos that a friend had tagged her in. The photos were captioned, “We’re so excited! DC bound to #StopTheSteal.” The real estate owner claimed she never entered the Capitol, but the videos and pictures proved otherwise.

Prosecutors also found a photo of Ryan posing in front of a shattered glass window with the caption, “Window at The capital. And if the news doesn’t stop lying about us, we’re going to come after their studios next…”

Two days after the deadly riots, Ryan posted a statement to her Twitter page condemning the violence that took place. “I was invited to go to Washington D.C. by a friend to witness the march,” she wrote. “Unfortunately, what I believed to be a peaceful political march turned into a violent protest. I do not condone the violence that occurred on January 6, 2020 and I am truly heartbroken for the people who have lost their lives.”

She continued, “Hatred and violence toward each other are not going to solve our country’s issues. As a nation, we need to come together Republican, Democrat and Independent and have an open and honest discussion about the issues in our country and resolve our issues in peace.”
