50 Cent, NLE Choppa, and Rileyy Lanez team up for “Part of the Game” video
The collaboration is the theme song for ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan.’
A month ago, 50 Cent officially unveiled “Part of the Game” featuring NLE Choppa and Rileyy Lanez. As previously reported by REVOLT, “Part of the Game” is the theme song to Power Book III: Raising Kanan. Now, fans can enjoy the brand new music video for the track, which switches back and forth between scenes from the actual series and shots of 50 Cent cruising as he delivers the smooth hook:
I know heartbreaks, setbacks. Bitch, if I crap out, I’m sure I’ma get back. I been through the ups and downs, you know I get around, so to me, it’s all a part of the game (Ah, ah, yeah). If I ain’t the coke man, or the dope man. I’m almost for sure man, I gotta take it. Don’t need to say shit, I’m gon’ take it. Robberies turned homicide, it’s nothin’ to play with.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan is the second spinoff season of widely popular STARZ show Power. 50 Cent has executive produced the show alongside show creator Courtney A. Kemp. 50 posted the song’s official audio on IGTV on Nov 30, 2020 to prep fans for the next installment in the Power Universe of television shows.
“Part of The Game” follows a slew of non-album singles from the Queens legend, including “No Romeo No Juliet” with Chris Brown, “Still Think I’m Nothing” with Jeremih, “Crazy” with PnB Rock, and “Big Rich Town (Power Remix)” with Trey Songz and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie — the last of which was a reimagining of the original, Joe-assisted theme song to “Power.” Keeping with the “Power” theme, 50 Cent also dropped his conceptual Kanan Tape EP in 2015, which saw seven tracks and features from Boosie Badazz, Young Buck, Post Malone, and Sonny Digital.
