Last month, Lil Baby announced that he would donate the funds from his summer protest anthem “The Bigger Picture” to charity. Now, he’s putting some of the $1.5 million profit to good use in Birmingham, Alabama as part of his The Bigger Picture Initiative.

According to CBS 42, Lil Baby will be contributing to the city’s Winter Warm Wishes Coat Giveaway for Birmingham residents on Dec. 28. The rapper has reportedly donated 1,000 winter coats to the drive.

“I’m so excited that rapper Lil Baby has chosen to support Birmingham’s District 9 communities,” John Hilliard, a Birmingham City Councilor, said in a statement. “With COVID-19’s critical impact on our communities, I find it honorable that someone with his influence would provide such an essential resource to our residents.”

“He is setting an amazing example for our youth,” Hilliard added. “I want to thank him for his willingness to come to Birmingham and spread kindness during these unprecedented times.”

Coats will be available for both children and adults. Families who wish to attend the giveaway can pre-register here.

Earlier this month, Lil Baby also used some of his 2020 earnings to fund a birthday party for George Floyd’s 7-year-old daughter, Gianna. The Atlanta native joined forces with retired NBA star Stephen Jackson and local restaurant owners Ericka and William Platt to host the L.O.L dolls-themed event.

Lil Baby announced that he would donate the proceeds from “The Bigger Picture” after the song was nominated for two Grammy Awards.

“I got 1.5 million dollars to donate off of ‘Bigger Picture.’ I want the money to go where it’s needed,” he tweeted at the time. “I don’t want to donate to just any organization, but I will be letting my fans [know] exactly [where] the money goes. Lawyers, bonds, playgrounds, jobs, youth activities, things that WE can really benefit off of.”
