DaniLeigh unleashed her new project titled Movie at the top of November, gifting fans with a 30 minute visual album that brought her music to life. The multi-talented artist is riding her momentum by steadily sharing individual cuts from the movie for fans to enjoy, the most recent one being “Monique.” On the song, DaniLeigh is about her business:

Ice out the Rollie, roll down thе streets, flooded ‘cause life is a bеach. You cannot hear me ‘cause I’m out of reach. All type of designer is packed in my brief. That’s how I start up my week, big money speech. Nothin’ I’m talkin’ is cheap, I just might speed through your block in my Jeep. Big money speech and my pockets Monique. You know we don’t speak. Tint it all black, and my window, know you all cheap.

The 16-track long body of work Movie includes contributions from some of the hottest artists in the industry today, including DaBaby, Queen Naija, PartyNextDoor, Gunna, Ty Dolla $ign and more. This summer, Dani gave listeners an early taste of the project and shared a drill-infused record alongside Fivio Foreign for the track “Dominican Mami.” The new project serves as the follow up to her 2018 debut album The Plan.

In a previous interview, Dani reflects on one of her known strengths, which is putting on a live show for a packed crowd:

What drives me is the energy in the crowd. I can see the type of crowd I’m gonna have and I’m like “Okay, let’s go.” Something in me just clicks and everything else I was dealing with before, whatever, that day, just doesn’t matter and I just happened to be putting on a great show. At the end of the day I feel like the best way to display yourself is doing live performances, and that’s the way of really gaining a loyal fanbase and really having people rock with you. I put my all into my shows to make sure I get that.
