Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr’s epic boxing match tonight (Nov. 28) had the tweets talking from beginning to end. From the two throwing punches at one another to the performances from some of hip hop’s biggest recording artists to even former NBA player Nate Robinson getting kicked out clean by YouTuber Jake Paul, it was a night like no other.

After all of the noise — and fighting — was said and done, the fight between Tyson and Jones Jr. was actually decided to be a draw. This conclusion puzzled the millions of watchers who tuned into the showdown because many of them believed that it was actually Tyson who was the victor of the tonight.

See the moment that Tyson and Jones Jr. found out the judging decision below.

“The worst part about boxing is the corruption. That Tyson fight was not even close but they give the draw so we get a rematch and everyone gets paid again. I hate this. Happens in like half of the fights,” social activist and vice chair of the Oregon Democratic Black Caucus Gregory McKelvey tweeted.

And many other people expressed their similar disappointment, as well.

“A DRAW? Tyson dominated without even trying to hit Roy Jones in the face. Are they trying to set us up for a ‘rematch.’ Please. Just stop it,” sports commentator Skip Baylass said.

No matter the controversial decision, however, both Tyson and Jones Jr. still made out pretty well if we’re talking money. According to Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole, Tyson could make as much as $10 million at the end of the showdown. On top of that, the California State Athletic Commission told ESPN that he and Jones Jr. have $1 million guaranteed for their bout no matter the outcome.
