Juicy J drops off ‘The Hustle Continues’ album
What Juicy say? He be like “Shut The Fuck Up!”
For over two decades (and counting), Juicy J has been an important staple in Hip Hop overall, especially in the south. The way he and legendary rap group Three Six Mafia came into the game and crafted their own sound that would influence generations of artists over the years — will never be forgotten. Having made a household name for himself, Juicy J has been apart of some unforgettable, timeless music that finds its way in rotation til this day.
The iconic rapper-producer-songwriter will indeed go down as one of the GOATs when it’s all said and done. Today, he keeps his legacy going with the release of his fifth studio album The Hustle Continues.
It’s never a bad time to be gifted some new Juicy J tunes. He can deliver it in any way you desire — the turn up, the smoker’s anthems, the laid back — there’s no limit. From classic joints like “Slob On My Knob” (which he wrote in high school) to “Bandz A Make Her Dance” and more, you’d have to be a complete fool to not appreciate the art. The Taylor Gang representer has been poised for greatness from the start and with the title The Hustle Continues, the name speaks for itself.
Speaking with Forbes recently, the Grammy/Oscar winning artist spoke on the album’s sound:
“I produced it myself. On a lot of my other albums, I’ll just produce a track here and there, but this album is 100 percent produced by me. I got a couple of producers, you know, here and there. But it’s 98 percent me at the end of the day. I produced it 100 percent, because I work on every track. I’ll bring in people to co-produce one or two tracks—not that many—but its 100 percent produced by me. I had fun with this one. I took it back to the old Three 6 Mafia sound with the new-new.”
Filled with 14 records in total, The Hustle Continues is a star-studded effort featuring musical contributions from Wiz Khalifa, Lil Baby, Young Dolph, 2 Chainz, Key Glock, NLE Choppa, Megan Thee Stallion, Ty Dolla $ign and more!
