It’s clear that, despite the pandemic, YBN Nahmir continues to live his life to the fullest. This week, he drops off a new music video for “Wake Up,” which is produced by Donnie Katana, Mike Mixer, and Mannie iL and sees Nahmir describing his appreciation for hedonism in great detail:

“Why a n***a keep wakin’ at like three? Is it because of all this Henny I’m drinkin’, or is it ‘cause of my enemies, the way that I’m livin’, I need to slow down, I swear that my life is the fastest…/

Wake up, get my dick sucked, then I pull off in that Bentley truck, butterfly doors are suicide, I get in my bag and don’t give no fucks/”

Directed by Joshua Valle, YBN Nahmir can be seen waking up with various beautiful women, something that he presumably does so often that it’s become a blur within his life. Other parts of the song come to life as well, including the appearance of Nahmir’s Bentley truck and being served Hennessy upon waking up mid-afternoon.

“Wake Up” follows the release of notable loose singles over the past year or so, including “Baby 8,” “Fuck It Up” with City Girls and Tyga, “Talkin,” “2 Seater” with G-Eazy and Offset, and “Pop Like This” with Yo Gotti. Currently, he’s said to be working on his official debut LP titled Visionland.

Earlier this year, YBN Nahmir was the first out of the now-defunct YBN collective to reveal that he, YBN Almighty Jay, and Cordae had unfortunately parted ways. Last month, he also found himself responding who critics who called him broke following an advertisement he posted on social media:

This is how dumb this generation is lol. Who wouldn’t make a simple Instagram post for $5,000 ? I guess I’m broke guys. Stay blessed child.
