Less than one day away from Gucci Mane and Jeezy’s Verzuz showdown, and we’re more excited than ever.

Since the news broke on Saturday (Nov. 14) of the two Trap pioneers’ IG Live battle, fans have been impatiently waiting for the big night. Guwop and Jeezy have been just as eager to enter the Instagram ring. On their respective social media accounts, they’ve been sharing teasers of the event.

After referring to the Thug Motivation rapper as a “snow cone” this past weekend, to which Jeezy responded by telling him to not send his clone to the battle instead, Gucci took things much further — and to the no chill zone — earlier this week when he laughed at a meme that referenced lyrics of “Truth,” La Flare’s 2012 diss track aimed at Jeezy. On the track, he raps, “Go dig your partner up, nigga, bet he can’t say shit.” In 2005, Gucci shot and killed a Jeezy associate who broke into his home.

Today (Nov. 18), Gucci made a video speaking about the upcoming showdown. In the clip, he even jokingly admitted the one thing that would make him completely cancel the Verzuz.

“Aye, check this out,” Gucci begins after he’s seen running down a steep cliff. “For everybody who’s asking me, right? The Verzuz is real. Me and Snow Cone will be in the same room. But this what I wanna know, right? Is fashion a part of the Verzuz? ’Cause I’ma have that shit on tomorrow. And if buddy have that same funny-ass shirt and that dumbass hat he had on that goddamn album cover, I ain’t doing it.”

Be sure to tune in to tomorrow’s Verzuz at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. From Jeezy and Gucci’s history as well as their legendary bodies of work, we know it’s going to be a night to remember.
