As the end of 2020 quickly approaches, we’ve been gifted some amazing projects left and right since January. From major artists to independent artists, there’s no question about it that this will go down in history as one of the best years for music overall. Today, Anaheim, CA rapper Phora joins the fun with the release of his fourth studio album With Love 2 and he did not disappoint.

Sometimes, all you need is an army to win. For Phora, after cutting ties with Warner Records last June, the west coast native is now convinced that his dedicated fan-base will help restore his shine in the independent realm.

Phora’s decision to bail out from Warner was simple. Last year he tore up his contract on Instagram and chucked deuces to the label he once called home for the previous two years. The thought of moving on, being himself, and delivering new music to his fans is what drove Phora to reroute his career. So far, he’s been able to deliver on each one of his promises, most notably, the latter, as he stepped up to drop With Love 2.

In a heartfelt, lengthy Instagram post, the rapper shed some light on his happiness and his appreciation for his supporters over the years:

“Album drops tomorrow 9pm… I’ve never been happier in my life. Been getting a lot of negative energy and hate coming my way but I’m above allll that shit right now. I’m proud of myself. Happy with who I am. Ready to prove people wrong and laugh all the way to the bank!! Glad to have real ones that love and support me, especially during these dark and fucked up times — All the pain, all the sacrifice, all the long nights were worth it.. I know this album is my best work yet and I can’t wait for u to hear it.”

If you’ve been sleep on Phora this entire time, now would be the ideal time to wake up and smell the coffee. Listen below and tweet us your thoughts!
