2 Chainz drew some inspiration from the ongoing pandemic for the title of his latest track, and who better to tap for assistance than one of the hottest ladies out currently, Mulatto. The two rappers from the south linked up for their latest hit, where 2 Chainz comes in with his signature flow over the Yung Lan-produced beat:

“This is for A-Town, make ‘em take a bow. Can’t f**k with you, with you, used to date a clown. Yeah, I want my cake and wanna it too, spend it too. I get what you get just for an interlude. I might cop a yacht just to post a pic. Sleepers spin your block ‘til he motion sickness. N***a, cocaine with my co-defendant. I had that pussy pissin’ once I hit that kidney.”

The Atlanta rapper released his last full length solo project Rap Or Go To The League back in 2019, which saw features from Marsha Ambrosius, Young Thug, Kendrick Lamar, Ariana Grande, Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper, and more. This year, he dropped off his collab project with T.R.U. titled No Face No Case in February. His most recent cut was the Lil Wayne-assisted cut “Money Maker.” The brand new track tonight signals the arrival of his So Help Me God project is near.

In a recent interview, 2 Chainz explained the multiple meanings behind his So Help Me God album title:

“Obviously, it’s an oath that people take when they are in a high office. And so for me, one of the oaths that I would like to take this year, especially since we’ve been in such a fucking trashy year, it’s to come out of it being a better husband, father, friend, musician, and artist, all around the board. But at the same time, So Help Me God could be like a threat. Like, I know I’m one of the illest to do this, “so help me God.” It has two meanings to let people know that you should be a little concerned… When it comes to this music, and putting together these projects, and coming up with concepts, and marketing ideas, me and my team are some of the best ones to ever do it.”
