Votes are still being counted this Thursday morning (Nov. 5) to determine a winner in the presidential election. While some Americans have grown restless and even begun protesting at ballot-counting centers, one person who doesn’t mind the extra wait is Rihanna. The star hopped on Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 4) to share an important election message.

“Count every vote,” she wrote in three separate posts. “We’ll wait.”

In the past few weeks, RiRi has used her platform to encourage her followers to get out and vote and it appears she’s keeping her attention on the election while votes continue to roll in. She also posted the message on the same day that a group of Donald Trump supporters swarmed a convention center in Detroit. Video from the demonstration quickly went viral, as protesters demanded an end to the ongoing ballot counting.

As reported by REVOLT, the mob chanted “Stop the count” and “Stop the vote” outside of the center, while inside, election officials were still tallying ballots. Security guards had to control the crowd and some election officials reportedly had to hold up pizza boxes to the building’s windows to prevent protesters from seeing inside.

The demonstration began after Trump’s campaign filed a lawsuit against Michigan to stop the ballot-counting process.

“President Trump’s campaign has not been provided with meaningful access to numerous counting locations to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process, as guaranteed by Michigan law,” Trump’s campaign manager, Bill Stepien, claimed in a statement. “We have filed suit today in the Michigan Court of Claims to halt counting until meaningful access has been granted.”

“We also demand to review those ballots which were opened and counted while we did not have meaningful access,” the statement added. “President Trump is committed to ensuring that all legal votes are counted in Michigan and everywhere else.”

Another group of pro-Trump protesters — some of whom were armed — also congregated outside of a ballot counting center in Maricopa, Arizona. There, the protesters demanded that officials “Count the votes” and claimed the election had been stolen from Trump, after the state was called in favor of Joe Biden.
