Earlier this year in May, KYLE dropped his “What It Is” track to hold folks over during the middle of the quarantine. Now, the rapper circles back around to unleash a fresh new remix of the song, equipped with a verse from none other than Chris Brown. In the new Breezy verse on the song, he comes through with the feels of when things start to fade away:

“I will always be your friend, for sure though. With or without comments on your photo, if you abort the mission, leave a n***a Han Solo. I’ll still wear your ring around my neck like I was Frodo. Once again, I’m gettin’ on this plane. And the sh*t you textin’ got me feelin’ strange. Yeah, yeah, ‘cause you don’t feel the same. And, girl, I’m sorry that it feels that way.”

See You When I am Famous!!!!!!!!!!!! was preceded by the singles “YES!,” “Money Now,” “Bouncin,” and the aforementioned “What It Is.” The project sees 12 new tracks from the Ventura star, along with collaborations alongside a slew of artists, including Tyga, Rico Nasty, Rich The Kid, Trippie Redd, Bryson Tiller, Raphael Saadiq, and Too $hort.

A recent article quotes KYLE explaining why this collaboration coming into fruition is a dream come true for him:

“This song is special to me, not only because it’s my favorite song I made for this album, but also because working with Chris Brown has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid. I remember hearing my first Chris Brown song; I was probably in the sixth grade. He’s the epitome of what it means to be a superstar, which is something I aspire to be. Working in the studio with him was pretty nuts too because I got to see his process and I got to hear how he does the very thing that has inspired me for more than two decades.”
