Smokepurpp just gifted his fans with a SoundCloud drop, just like the old days. On the new track “Never Have I Ever,” the Florida rapper comes in with an aggressive flow about the things he never did as he slides over the Supah Mario prodction:

“B*tch I got no sorrow. I’m the f**kin’ man, I’m dipping out tomorrow. Never have I ever been dependent on a b*tch. Introverted n***a these imposters they be sick. She stepped on my shoes so I made her kiss my kicks. I snuck in the club with a full 30 clip.”

Back in June, Purpp released his Florida Jit project, which sees 17 tracks and appearances from Lil Pump, Young Nudy, Denzel Curry, Rick Ross, and Jack Harlow. He also dropped a new single titled “Said Alotta Things” later in the summer which is produced by Bobby Raps and Thank You Fizzle. Most recently, Smokepurpp can be heard on “Gelato” alongside Eladio Carrion and Duki. His other bodies of work were Deadstar 2 and Lost Planet 2.0, which both hit streaming services in 2019.

During a past interview with HipHopDX, Smokepurpp revealed that he scrapped a collaboration with Kanye West titled “No Problem” due to the Chicago star’s newfound faith:

“He kind of just changed his ways or whatever… Mike Dean mixed the whole album—he executive produced the whole album. So he pretty much just told me [Kanye’s] not really cursing and s***, he’s not really performing his old songs anymore, he does ‘Jesus Walks.’ If he does do his old songs, he changes the lyrics. Mike Dean told me at first. He was like, ‘Yo, it was going to be harder to get it cleared because he doesn’t curse no more.’ I was just, like, f*** it, just put it away. He’ll change again.”
