When the clock strikes midnight (October 30), Busta Rhymes will release his tenth studio album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, the sequel to his third effort Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front. The project will see a healthy 22 tracks and features from Anderson .Paak, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Bell Biv DeVoe, Minister Louis Farrakhan, and more.

Before the album makes landfall, fans are able to check out a new single titled “Look Over Your Shoulder,” which features Kendrick Lamar and sees production from Nottz, The Corporation, and Hal Davis, who incorporate a sample of The Jackson 5’s “I’ll Be There.” Previously heard via a mixtape leak some years ago, the two lyricists can be heard showcasing some of their absolute best bars to date:

“Shhh, look over your shoulder, get me? ’Cause I done bodied the game to the point, n***as scared to rap with me, get burned until they anointed me, one of the kings of black history/”

Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God marks an official return from Busta Rhymes since 2015’s The Return of the Dragon (The Abstract Went on Vacation), although he did pepper his fan base with loose singles during and since that time, including “AAAHHHH!!!” with Swizz Beatz, “Girlfriend” with Vybz Kartel and Tory Lanez, and “Get It” with Missy Elliott and Kelly Rowland. His last album, Year of the Dragon, drops in 2012.
