Ice Cube had a few choice words for people who continue to downplay his work with his Contract With Black America (CWBA).

On Monday (Oct. 19), the “It Was A Good Day” emcee took to Twitter to call out those who have called him “unqualified” and “uneducated” following allegations that he assisted Donald Trump with his “Platinum Plan” for Black America.

“I hope all these people with podcasts and radio shows telling the world I’m too unqualified and uneducated to talk about a document I created don’t get asked to pull out their Communications degrees and show you they are qualified and educated enough to speak to you over airwaves,” he tweeted.

In a follow-up tweet, he wrote, “Guess I wasn’t qualified when I helped [American Descendants of Slavery] get Gov. Gavin Newsom to sign AB3121 into law.” His tweet referenced a bill that will begin a detailed plan to give reparations to Black Americans.

Last week, Cube faced criticism after a senior advisor of the Trump administration thanked the rapper for assisting with the president’s “Platinum Plan” for Black Americans. The Are We There Yet? actor said that both parties contacted him about his CWBA and the republicans were willing to speak about it now. Joe Biden’s administration said that they would connect with him after the election.

He also revealed that he was not endorsing Biden or Trump and says the president is not using him, despite what people may believe.

“I know people have their thoughts on I’m being used,” Cube said. “I’m not being used because I walked in there, I had the meetings and I spoke. I’ve never met Trump, I’ve never been to the White House. I talked to both campaigns — like I said I would. I have a CWBA that both parties are going to have to get with. We can’t depend on one party to bring this through, it’s too broad. Both parties are going to have to get with it.”
