Next year, Tip Harris will officially have 20 years in the rap game — a milestone that not many artists are able to achieve. With his debut LP I’m Serious hitting the streets almost two decades ago, T.I. hasn’t missed a beat. In fact, he hasn’t displayed any signs of slowing down any time soon. Paving the way for many other artists after him, Tip has proven why his self proclaimed title “King Of The South” is noteworthy through the years. Today, he stepped up to the plate to deliver his 11th studio album The L.I.B.R.A. and it’s worth the listen without a doubt.

The L.I.B.R.A. (meaning The Legend Is Back Running Atlanta) is a star-studded body of work that would catch the eyes and ears of almost anyone if we’re being honest. Laced with 20 records in total, the ATL veteran assembled a dream team of guest features that made the album a dynamic body of work. With 22 features solidified, Tip joined forces with Snoop Dogg, Conway The Machine, Benny The Butcher, Jadakiss, Young Thug, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, John Legend, Lil Baby, Killer Mike and more!

The project seems more of a compilation album than the traditional solo effort, but that doesn’t take away from its thoroughness. Serving as the follow up to T.I.’s 2018 LP Dime Trap, The L.I.B.R.A. is as great as they come.

Over recent times, T.I. has been busy with his well orchestrated expediTIously podcast and other business ventures so it’s no surprise that he’s gone through a brief hiatus from music, but it feels good to hear him on wax again. Additionally, he still wants all the smoke with 50 Cent in a Verzuz battle and is doing everything he can to get Swizz Beatz & Timbaland to push the envelope so he can prove his point once and for all.
