Cardi B celebrates her birthday with new Reebok footwear collection
The rapper shared the news with her fans ahead of her birthday.
Cardi B is bringing in her birthday in a major way. The rapper announced on Saturday (Oct. 10) that she will be releasing her first-ever footwear collection with Reebok in November. The “WAP” rapper revealed the news on Instagram on the eve of her 28th birthday, and surprised her fans by releasing one of her designs.
“I’m kicking off my birthday weekend by announcing I am officially dropping my first ever Reebok x Cardi Footwear Collection on 11/13!!” she captioned the post. “As my birthday gift to my loyal fans I’m dropping limited pairs TONIGHT at MIDNIGHT EST on Reebok.com. #ReebokxCardiB”
Reebok shared on their website that the Grammy winner designed the Club C Cardi sneaker, which comes in women’s and toddlers sizes with a price tag of $100 and $50. The brand teased the collaboration on their Instagram, writing: “Big Cardi B-irthday Energy. 👅✨ *sound on* A surprise limited early release of our Reebok x Cardi B collection just dropped. Get it before it’s gone.”
The new collection of sneakers is the latest project to come out of Cardi’s brand partnership with Reebok. The superstar has appeared in several commercials for the footwear company over the years.
Cardi’s sneaker surprise to fans was just the beginning of her birthday celebrations. The “Money” rapper had a star-studded party in Las Vegas with a guest list that included husband Offset, Meg Thee Stallion, Meek Mill, Queen Naija, City Girls Yung Miami and JT, and more.
Offset’s attendance at the party comes less than a month after Cardi filed for divorce, fueling speculation that they are back together. The Migos rapper surprised his wife with a Rolls Royce truck at the party, that included a customized car seat for their daughter, Kulture, and the pair were spotted kissing in videos shared by party goers from the event.
