Drake and fellow members of the OVO Sound team are mourning the loss of OVO-affiliate Dolla Bill who recently passed away from causes that are not yet known.

The “6 God” star announced the news of Dolla Bill’s death on Tuesday (Sept. 15) with a heartfelt message.

“Known you for so many years, and since day one you came around with a smile and positive words for me…,” he wrote alongside a throwback photo of him and Dolla Bill. “Your main priority was ALWAYS your family and the guys. You will be missed dearly brother. RIP DOLLA BILL @repsupdolla.”

The Views rapper also posted an image in his Instagram Story that captured his late friend’s aforementioned priority. In the picture, Dolla Bill is seen posing with his son who is wearing an OVO chain. Drake captioned the photo, “RIP a real one Dolla Bill.”

Chubbs — who is reportedly referred to as Drake’s muscle — also penned a tribute to Dolla Bill using the same photo the “One Dance” star posted in his story.

“Your loyalty is unmatched I can never repay you for giving me a way out when nobody else wanted to,” the caption to his Instagram post read. “I took that and had enough bread to go see Drizzy when the opportunity came. I owe you so much.”

“Your son is my son!!” he continued. “I hate we can’t grow old together. I can write for days, but you know what I’m saying. I love you bro.”

Baka Not Nice, who signed to OVO Sound in 2017, also took to Instagram to honor the late Dolla Bill. “Love you brother nlongtalking,” he wrote. “Rest easy. See you when I get there.”

Dolla Bill worked at DreamWork, a graphic design company based in Toronto. He collaborated with Drake and the OVO Sound team numerous times over the years. Details regarding Dolla Bill’s death have yet to be disclosed.
