Iggy Azalea teases upcoming single with Tinashe
Iggy Azalea’s new song is slated to come out next week!
It’s been a while but it looks like Iggy Azalea is in the studio working on her third album. The rapper has been collaborating with “Bodak Yellow” and “Savage” producer J. White Did It and is about ready for us to hear her new single.
Azalea teamed up with Tinashe for a song entitled “DLNW” which will come out next week on Aug. 21. It will be her first song since releasing her Wicked Lips EP in December 2019 but her second time pairing with the singer since their 2014 hit single “All Hands on Deck.”
“So soooo excited about this one!,” the rapper wrote on an Instagram post. “All hands on deck rmx is one of my favorite moments! So yeah – I’m crazy excited for a round 2 & insanely grateful to have you be a part of this record @tinashenow we made another one for the books.”
Despite being a new mother to her son Onyx Carter, Azalea seems eager to make her return which is fitting given the myriad of talented women rappers in music.
Back in June, J. White Did It spoke to Pop Crave about the time and dedication she’s been putting into her upcoming single.
“Iggy is definitely working. We got some special things coming,” he said. “I don’t really know as far as a release date for a single, but what I do know is that with me and Iggy, she’s so laser focused on getting the people something fresh, something new.”
“We had a conversation on where we need to go as far as sound and how she feels,” he continued. “I really, for months now, have been working on the perfect taste for Iggy. She’s one person I know who works really hard, I love her work ethic. She’s with with me 12 hours a day, 13, 14 hours a day. And all just all for one song. We’re laser focused in to create something that’s so amazing.”
