DreamDoll teams up with Fivio Foreign for “Ah Ah Ah”
The drill cut sees production from Dizzy Banko.
The New York drill sound continues to expand. Case in point, Bronx star DreamDoll has delivered a new dope cut titled “Ah Ah Ah,” which features Fivio Foreign and — thanks to solid production from Dizzy Banko — gives the artists that raw, genre-bending sound that’s taking over the Empire State. As with drill tracks, the collaborators deliver their hardest, no-filter rhymes to date:
“Ah ah ah, he got that hood stroke, yeah, but ah ah ah, he got that good throat, uh, and ah ah ah/
He pay that car note, but, ah ah ah, do ah ah ah, he can’t stay hard though, y’all know, and my groupchat lit, like ah ah ah ain’t s***/
In addition to the music, DreamDoll is also known for her time on the small screen, which began with her Bad Girls Club appearance in 2016. That was followed by her more well-known role as part of the cast of VH1’s Love & Hop Hop: New York the next year. Since then, she’s been proving herself as a viable artist via her Life In Plastic EPs, which were released as part of her deal with DJ Self’s Gwinin Entertainment. According to Genius, she’s currently working on the third installment of the aforementioned series.
Speaking to Allure, DreamDoll spoke on collaborating with the legendary Lil Kim for Life In Plastic 2:
“Me and Lil’ Kim have a bond to this day. She is the sweetest person I’ve ever met. You know [how] they say don’t meet your idol? When I first met Kim, she invited me out, [and I was] like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so scared.’ She was so warm to me from the first hello. She even moved the person that was sitting next to her and made me sit beside her. [I remember] my eyes started tearing up, but there was so many cameras that I was like, ‘I’m f***ing sitting next to my idol. I love this b***h right here.’”
