Last month saw the release of City Girls’ sophomore LP City On Lock, which sees 15 tracks and additional assistance from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Yo Gotti, Southside, Quay Global, and more. This week, the duo deliver a new visual from the project for “P***y Talk,” which features Doja Cat and sees the collaborators getting straight to the point:

“Ayy, look, this p***y extort these n***as, p***y be like, ‘Can you afford me, n***a?,’ broke n***as in my face, p***y ignore these n***as, for the bag, p***y speak poetry, n***a/

Boy, this p***y from the hood, this p***y from the projects, this p***y so ghetto, this p***y speak ebonics/

This p***y snatched back, playin’ tug-of-war, turn a n***a gang-gang, he gon’ go to war, you want this p***y real bad? Say, ‘Pretty please,’/

Cop me baguetties, make my wrist freeze, got n***as overseas goin’ crazy ‘bout me, Jamaican, Cuban, French, Japanese/”

The accompanying visual sees Yung Miami, JT, and Doja Cat handling business in an office setting, with additional shots in what looks like a mansion and out in the jungle.

“P***y Talk” follows City Girls’ video for the Kiddo Marv and COMPOSE-produced “Jobs.” Prior to City On Lock, the Miami stars released the mixtape Period and the debut studio LP Girl Code in 2018. In addition to the new album, they launched a new docuseries that chronicles their journey thus far — the first part of the series shows Yung Miami holding it down for the group during JT’s then-incarceration.

Speaking to REVOLT, Quality Control engineer Thomas “Tillie” Mann spoke on City Girls’ recording process during the making of City On Lock:

“This next album they have now shows how their growth is crazy. They tend to take a little bit more time to make sure they get everything right. They have their own style of recording because they were recording a lot in Miami. They weren’t necessarily recording at QC for a while. So, they had their own way they liked to record. They might want to sit with the record or have their hair stylist and homegirls come to the studio and vibe out. They may want to light some candles and get into a whole vibe before they get into the record.”
