Gucci Mane is back to remind his fans of where he comes from. Last month, he connected with current Atlanta frontrunner Lil Baby for the hard-hitting “Both Sides,” which saw the Zone 6 veteran back on the streets that molded him into the person he is today. Now, he returns with “Still Remember,” which sees production from Dat Boi Squeeze and 30 Roc and features assistance from newly minted 1017 Eskimo artist Pooh Shiesty. As with the aforementioned previous drop, Gucci reminisces about his days growing up in Atlanta and the struggles he had to endure to make it to this point:

“I had to laugh, it kept me from cryin’, said it was all good, but I was lyin’, stood on my ten, and I did my time, I done seen all these n***as switch sides/

I know what’s up with these guys, they hate in disguise, d*** ridin’s at an all-time high, just by the watches I buy, and the jets that I fly, like I’m up, like I’m stuck in the sky/

I came up robbin’, starvin’, Sun Valley ‘partments, copped the MARTA with some pennies, handled my business, I swear that I hustle relentless/

Bipolar from all of the killings, dope I was whippin’, mom tried to whip me…/”

The accompanying video comes courtesy of Joe Yung Spike and shows the collaborators with their crew and plenty of beautiful women, along with high-end cars, jewelry, and stacks of cash. Many would consider Guwop’s latest tunes his hardest-hitting since his last and final release from prison back in 2016, a contrast to flashier releases like Delusions of Grandeur and Woptober II.

Press play on “Still Remember” below. The tracks are said to be taken from Gucci Mane’s forthcoming fifteenth studio LP, which will hopefully be making landfall sooner than later.
