Presumably, NLE Choppa is still putting the finishing touches on his upcoming release Top Shotta. To hold his fans over, the Memphis star drops off the fifth installment of his highly rated “Shotta Flow” series, which has been running since the Blueface-assisted Cottonwood cut “Shotta Flow” was released last year. The hard-hitting number is produced by Xavi and Payday and sees Choppa delivering the aggressive bars fans know him for:

“I whip the pack like Ike and Tina, I just copped me a Bimmer, used to ride in steamers, I’m hot as jalapeños/

B***h, I’m sellin’ out arenas, they say, ‘he entertain us,’ and if you try to tame us, I bet we leave you stained up/

Whole lotta sticks in the house, it’s a gun show, bullets get him wet like a motherf***in’ poncho/

I don’t think none of y’all n***as want gun smoke, don’t second guess this s***, I’m gon’ blow/

Send a hit at five, he was dead by six, got shot seven times, but the eighth shot missed/”

The accompanying visual comes courtesy of Cole Bennett and Lyrical Lemonade, and shows NLE Choppa chasing a mustached version of himself around his house with a paintball gun. Following what had to be a hallucinatory battle with toy soldiers, he chats up his mother before being ordered to wash the dishes. Later on, said mother catches him in the kitchen chopping up what appeared to be talking fruit. The clip is definitely trippy, to say the least.

“Shotta Flow 5” follows the Roddy Ricch-assisted “Walk ‘Em Down,” which has become one of NLE Choppa’s biggest hits to date, landing with the top half of the Billboard Hot 100. This year has also seen “100 Shots” and “Go Stupid,” his collaboration with Polo G, Stunna 4 Vegas, and Mike WiLL Made-It.
