Tyler, The Creator disregards his GOLF store’s damage and stands with protesters

Tyler, The Creator is standing with the protesters after his GOLF store was marked by graffiti during the George Floyd protests.
“BLACK FURY: keep your eyes wide and educate yourself. (Black Panther Party, 1969),” Tyler wrote. “And the store is fine, but even if it wasn’t, this is bigger than getting some glass fixed and buffing some spray paint off. Understand what really needs to be fixed out here. Stay safe. Love.”
A few days ago, Tyler himself hit the streets to protest with the people of Los Angeles. His close friend A$AP Rocky recently opened up about protesting after fans accused the “Fuckin’ Problems” rapper of not being involved in the movement.
“WE PROTESTED N DEEZ STREETS, NO PRESS, NO CAMERAS, NO INSTAGRAM. NOT 4 NO BRAGGIN RIGHTS OR PHOTO OPPS,” Rocky tweeted on Monday (June 1). “SHIT WAS JUST GENUINE. 4 ONCE IT’S LIKE DA WHOLE [world emoji] SHARED THE SAME PAIN. I DON’T POST MY EVERY MOVE, NOT MY THING, BUT WE FAR FROM SILENT N IT’S STILL FUK12!”
Rocky didn’t post his own protesting efforts on his social media platforms, but a photo of him spray painting “Fuck 12” was posted by AWGE’s Instagram account — a creative agency that he founded.
Several celebrities have donated money for bail relief efforts for the protesters. Megan Thee Stallion recently donated over $10,000 to Houston’s Restoring Justice. “I love my people and I love my city!!!” she captioned her Instagram post. “Any contribution helps! Swipe to see some sites where you can donate money to the bail funds of protestors!!! #Blacklivesmatter.”
The Weeknd donated $500,000 to several organizations including the Black Lives Matter Global Network, the National Bail Out Fund and Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights campaign. “Keep supporting our brothers and sisters out there risking everything to push for actual change for our black lives,” the After Hours singer wrote on Instagram. “Urging everyone with big pockets to give and give big and if you have less please give what you can even if it’s a small amount. #Blacklivesmatter.”
