Rihanna has paused sales for all three of her Fenty fashion and beauty brands to take part in Blackout Tuesday, a pledge by companies to cease their sales and reconnect with their communities as protests take place all around the world.

“We ain’t buying shit!!!” she tweeted. “And we ain’t selling shit neither!! Gang gang! #BLACKOUTTUESDAY AF!!! @FentyOfficial @fentybeauty @SavageXFenty.”

The web pages for Fenty Beauty, Savage x Fenty and Fenty have been replaced with a message that outlines their solidarity with the movement.

“We are not staying silent and we are not standing by. The fight against racial inequality, injustice, and straight up racism doesn’t stop with financial donations and words of support,” the pages read.

“In solidarity with the Black community, our employees, our friends, our families, and our colleagues across industries we are proud to take part in #BlackoutTuesday,” the statement continues. “This is not a day off. This is a day to reflect and find ways to make real change. This is a day to #PullUp.”

Rih’s luxury Fenty label has also posted an additional message on their Instagram page stating why the Anti singer began the company with LVMH, which made her the first black woman to lead a major luxury house.

Fenty as a brand was created to elevate beauty, power and freedom,” the company shared on Instagram today (June 2). “At this very moment racists are attempting to rip those values away from Black people and we will NOT stand by and let that happen. We are too powerful, creative and resilient.”

Fenty also announced that they will donate funds to several organizations that will support the Black community. “In support of the Black community, we will be donating funds to Color of Change and Movement for Black Lives,” the company wrote. “We ask you to speak up, stand up and pull up against racism and discrimination in all forms.”
