Future has something special in the works for fans.
During a recent interview with Zane Lowe, the “My Savages” spitter revealed that he is working on an upcoming Netflix film and a book. “Right now, I got my book I’m working on,” Future said without going into detail regarding the upcoming project. “My movie I’m working on. They’re going to able to find it on Netflix.”
The exciting news came after Future dropped his eighth studio album High Off Life, which featured guest appearances from Young Thug, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, NBA YoungBoy and more. Speaking of Thug, Future explained that their energy in the studio is unmatched. In the past, the two collaborated on several occasions, including their 2017 joint mixtape titled Super Slimey. “That’s my twin,” Future said of Thug. “There’s me and then there’s him. When you mention Thug you mention me. It’s like one.”
As fans might recall, Future dropped a documentary back in January 2019 alongside his album titled The Wizrd. In the film, the musician gave an inside look at his creative process, detailed his upbringing and more. He also shared a clip of himself working on his What a Time to be Alive mixtape with Drake, which debuted in September of 2015.
When asked if there will be a follow-up to the joint venture, Future revealed that he enjoys keeping fans on their toes. “At the end of the day, I get my inspiration from the people,” he said. “The people that have an influence. The people who understand it. The people who done studied it. I keep you on your toes. So, whatever you’re expecting, I got to go beyond your expectations.”
