Tekashi 6ix9ine is expected to make his return to Instagram Live today (May 8) to premiere a new single and music video and it seems Meek Mill has something to say about it. The Championships rapper hopped on Twitter to demand that 6ix9ine “apologize” for his snitching ways.

“I hope that rat going live to apologize to the people he told on or the victim,” Meek wrote. “Y’all forgot that fast a ‘rat’ killed nipsey he wasn’t suppose to be on the streets! That’s the only thing ima day because he’s dead… left his baby mom and child like a coward as targets!”

“Now you just a informant behind a keyboard tryna troll families you ruined so it’s not gone hit the same,” he added. “And by the way I’m doing this for my ‘sons’ so you won’t be around to impact their lives ever!!!

6ix9ine responded to the accusation on Instagram, writing, “Imagine having a new born baby come into the world & be pressed about a Mexican with rainbow hair.”

6ix9ine it expected to go Live today (May 8) at 3 pm EST. It will be his first public appearance since dropping names in the courtroom and also lands on the rapper’s 24th birthday.

6ix9ine first hinted at an incoming release last week, shortly after Judge Engelmayer gave him permission to shoot music videos in his backyard. TMZ previously reported that because of social distancing regulations, the rapper’s security team would moonlight as his film crew.

“The defendant is permitted to conduct employment-related activities outside the residence but within the confines of the rented property for two hours per week on one specific day that needs advanced approval by the Probation Officer,” Engelmayer had written in his decision. “Given structural interference with the GPS tracking device, the defendant’s hours in the basement of the residence will be limited to no more than an eight-hour period per day with a schedule as determined by the Releasee and approved by the Probation Officer.”

The new single could mark the first offering from 6ix9ine’s two forthcoming albums. Since being released from prison due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the New York native has reportedly kept busy by recording full-length English and Spanish albums, which will fulfill his $10 million deal with 10K Projects.
