Back in 2017, Arizona Zervas proved his ability to rap with a Super Bowl freestyle that utilized all of the teams in the NFL. Two years later, he showed the world his ability to make a hit record with “ROXANNE,” an ode to a girl who likes to party all the time and spend other people’s money. Thanks to social media platform Tik-Tok, that song ended up skyrocketing to the top of various charts — including the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked within the top 5. Swae Lee even jumped on the remix, further pushing the single into iconic territory and guaranteeing its continued lifespan well into 2020. Now, Arizona delivers another genre-bending cut titled “24,” which builds off its predecessor with melodic rhymes about living the rockstar lifestyle:

“Ballin’ like I’m Kobe, 2-4 on my jersey, I stay with the homies, they pop out if you hurt me/

I might cop a Rollie, for all the hoes who curved me, when I pull up swervin’, that’s that Lamborghini Mercy/

I might do the dash, goin’ fast in the coupe, I’ve been gettin’ cash, all my racks lookin’ blue…/”

While an official music video has yet to be released, fans can still check out a lyric visual that shows him skateboarding on a beautiful California street, adding to the upbeat, carefree vibe of the track. With the same formula intact, it’s only a matter of time before “24” find itself on every radio station and, post-quarantine, every dance floor.

Speaking to the L.A. Times, Columbia chairman and CEO Ron Perry spoke on Arizona Zervas, who recently inked a deal with the massive record company:

“From the moment I met him, it was obvious that his vision is precise, his art is uncompromising and his songwriting is among the best I’ve ever seen.”
